The Teahouse. Exhibition Pavillion at Norsk Form, Oslo, 2011

Part of the Building Blocks exhibition where kids and teenagers were asked to commision their own work of architecture.

Our clients, the two teenagers Mads and Vilde asked for a "club house, a sanctuary, a tea house, a place for contemplation. A place to hang out.

The Tea house is a wooden construction hovering above the floor, attaching itself to one of the large windows of the former industrial building.

The interior is furnished with recycled and customized furniture from FRETEX painted bright blue.
