Gråmølna museum, Trondheim 2007
Client: Nedre Elvehavn AS
Project: Invited competition for art museum.

The project suggests a simple, low addition to a existing building in order to disturb its listed facade as little as possible. The interior is torn out and the building is transformed into a large exhibition space, while the space between the buildings is planted and made into a sculpture garden.

The interior of the walls of the addition are clad with mirrors, making the small garden and addition into an infinite curving space, a quiet space for art in an otherwise cluttered and shopping-intensive part of Trondheim.
